Forget everything you thought you knew about Bigfoot.

You're not hunting him.

You ARE him.

And for some reason, you've decided the best way to escape the heat is to ride a bicycle across the country (with your family of course).

A Very Scary Hairy Bike Ride is a co-op survival game about biking, exploring, camping and crafting. And no, it's not scary.

The name just rhymes 🙂.

RIDE YOUR BIKE

Your bicycle is your best friend. You'll spend a lot of time riding through the wilderness, balancing yourself, navigating rough terrain, trying not to send yourself flying down a hill, and not getting eaten by a huge grizzly bear.

You can get off whenever you want, too. Sometimes it's easier to explore on foot. And sometimes you need to find resources.

EXPLORE THE WILDERNESS

Travel through huge stretches of wilderness in an open world as you make your way across to the east coast. Explore forests, discover new areas, collect resources, and figure out where you're going next.

STOP. REST. TRY NOT TO DIE.

Long bike rides are exhausting.

You'll need to keep an eye on your hunger, thirst and stamina, find resources, and make sure you're prepared for whatever comes next.

When you've had enough for the day, set up camp and take a break.

Because tomorrow, you're getting back on that stupid bike.

MAKE YOUR OWN WAY

Collect materials as you explore and use them to craft useful items that can help you survive your journey.

Find what you need.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR BIKE

Your bike isn't indestructible.

As you travel, your bike can take damage from the environment and whatever other terrible decisions you make while riding it.

Keep it in good shape, because walking across the country sounds significantly less fun than biking it. But don't worry, you can always make a new bike.

DAY AND NIGHT

The world doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Plan your trips, decide when it's time to stop, and figure out how far you want to push yourself before night falls. Sometimes you'll be riding through the sunlight. Sometimes you'll be setting up camp beneath the stars.

BRING YOUR FRIENDS, TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS

The journey is better with friends. 

Play together in co-op, travel as a group, explore the wilderness, gather resources, build your camps, and help each other survive. Or don't, you know your friends better than we do. Stay connected with proximity voice chat as you travel. Hear your friends getting farther away, yelling for help, and them laughing their ass off when you accidentally ride off a cliff.

SO... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Grab a bike, your friends, any supplies you can carry, and start riding!

Despite the name, this is NOT a horror game! Don't get it confused!

There is currently no option for motion sickness while on the bike, sorry!

There is no way to change your keybinds.

There is no voice chat moderation. STAY SAFE ONLINE.
